Stephen Loncar | Chief Strategy Officer | Clear Channel International

Steve Loncar is the Chief Strategy Officer for Clear Channel International; covering 22 markets across Europe, Latin America and Asia.

His role is to ensure the business keeps planning for the future in the evolving media and OOH landscape. Amongst other areas, this means there is a particular focus on how the ‘digital transformation’ of the industry – from the design and deployment of digital display networks; to the automation of internal campaign management processes and external customer channels – presents opportunities for the group, and how Clear Channel should shape its own leadership role in this transformation of the industry. This includes the development of plans to invest in the right markets at the right time, which exploit the scale of the business and the depth of know-how across the group. Clear Channel International had over 13,000 digital displays at the end of 2017.

As well as developing the long-term plan for the business Steve is also responsible for M&A within the group.

Steve has been with Clear Channel for seven years, his first five spent in the UK business as Head of Strategy. Before joining Clear Channel, Steve was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company where advised businesses from across the technology, media and telecoms sector, amongst others. Before that Steve was an Engineering Officer in the British Army with multiple operational deployments to the Middle East and Balkans.
